Designed as part of the city’s modernist furnishing program, the model reflects the architectural clarity and functional elegance that define Chandigarh furniture of the period.The chairs are constructed in solid teak and feature a distinctive double “X” leg structure, rising organically to form the armrests and stabilized by two central crosspieces beneath the seat. The backrest, seat, and arm supports are subtly reclined, offering a relaxed seating position while maintaining a strong sculptural presence.Upholstered in black skai (faux leather), used here as a placeholder fabric, the chairs retain their original design intent and may be reupholstered to suit individual preference.
