Vintage Italian Lounge Chairs In Teak By Ico Parisi For Fratelli Reguitti, Italy, 1950s
Chairish$10,691
Pair of lounge chairs designed by Ico Parisi for Fratelli Reguitti, Italy, 1959. Solid wooden frames with a light brown lacquered finish and a pronounced grain pattern. The design combines precise Italian craftsmanship with a clear architectural structure. The armrests extend in a continuous line from back to front, following the natural position of the arms, while the legs taper elegantly towards the floor. Newly upholstered in a high-quality light blue fabric with three buttons on the backrest, providing a subtle accent. Both chairs show small, well-executed wood restorations done in Italy, preserving the integrity of the original structure and adding to the authenticity of the pieces. Well-proportioned, comfortable, and visually balanced chairs that represent the refined aesthetic of late-1950s Italian design. It's basically a good investment that you can enjoy in the meantime. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
