A refined pair of armchairs attributed to Paolo Buffa and produced by La Permanente Mobili Cantù in the 1950s. The solid cherry frame, preserved in its original patina and waxed, displays the typical construction quality of the finest Brianza tradition: clean lines, elegant profiles, and perfectly balanced proportions. The slightly contoured armrests seamlessly connect to the front legs. The overall effect is light and harmonious, with a simple and timeless elegance. We reupholstered and reupholstered the cushions using a colorful striped velvet fabric on a beige cotton background, perfectly matching the style of the seats. The upholstery is clean and of high quality. The frame is solid and stable, with no visible scratches or marks, and no invasive restorations. This highly decorative and refined set exemplifies the post-war Milanese style and the collaboration between Buffa and La Permanente Mobili Cantù.
