A richly carved parlor settee made of walnut, circa 1910. Carved throughout with foliage, the seat back is decorated with two putto heads, one at each shoulder, and supported with four pierced back splats. A serpentine carved apron frames the spring seat, upholstered in Sherry Kline’s ‘China Art’ jacquard in red. Stands on six turned legs.
