19th century French oak settee with hand carving. The back is carved and has a molded edge over three vase shaped carved panels, following down to a seat with a beveled edge along the front and sides and turned arms. Underneath the seat, there is a hand carved and scalloped apron, which adds design interest to the piece. The legs are hand-turned in the front and simple in the back for easy placement against a wall. The seat measures 19 inches in height. This is a sweet settee which would be gorgeous in any room of the home or office.
