Louis-Philippe style two-seater loveseat, Napoleon III period, circa 1850-1870, in solid mahogany stained dark brown.Double medallion back structure, topped with crests sculpted in volutes and cartouches, typical of the Second Empire ornamental repertoire. Cabriole type feet, slightly arched. Pink velvet trim, highlighted all around by a row of gilded brass studs. The velvet is in very satisfactory condition, likely recently restored or very lightly used, with no significant visible wear. Dimensions: H. 93 cm, L. 70 cm, seat height 38 cm.
