Mid-century two-seater sofa, collectible, attributed to Gio Ponti for the Casa e Giardino factory in the late 1930s. The upholstery has been redone in fur-effect bouclé fabric, the frame and padding are all original from the period, including the goose down cushions. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
