Introduced in 1964, 15 years after the chair, the Colonial Sofa is based on the same core design as the armchair and clearly reflects Wanscher's penchant for the delicate and refined. The Colonial Sofa also demonstrates the designer's fascination with furniture from 18th century England and bygone colonial times.
