The Sofa, commonly known as a shell, was produced in the no longer existing german democratic republic in the 1960s. It has undergone a complete renovation. It consisted of removing old material, sponges, belts, and insects. The metal frame was then cleaned, protected against corrosion, and re-painted. The next step was to pull on the new belts, put on a sponge and put on a sheep. The culmination of the renovation was the upholstery with a beautiful velvet and pied-de-poule fabric. The feet were cleaned and re-painted with matt black varnish. Metal feet polished. The Sofa looks great. All stages of the renovation were carried out taking into account the original production process.
