A 1920’s wicker newspaper and magazine rack made by Lloyd Loom of Menominee, Michigan. Decorated with an open wicker braid around the top edge and over a central wooden divider with a central handle. The divider is painted with a burl-like effect. The body curves gracefully with a concave front and back and convex sides. Wooden saber legs are ribbed to give the look of wicker wrapping. Painted in the original jewel tone green, the maker's label is still clearly visible underneath.
