Kiki van Eijk designed Floating Frames as a collection of handmade objects in anodized aluminium wire. Each piece is meticulously handmade in her workshop; no two items are alike.Showing only the skeleton of the object yet representing a function in full state, these metal wire pieces seem to float in space. Kiki takes a single line and transforms it into a whimsical sculptural piece. By interweaving a ceramic part she highlights its function.
