Walnut cabinet made by hand and featuring shoji doors and shelves. This cabinet is constructed utilizing time honored joinery techniques featured in Japanese temple carpentry in addition it features shoji made utilizing those same traditional joinery techniques. The result is a cabinet that will serve you for many years to come. The shoji doors are backed with mulberry paper, the traditional paper used in shoji construction. This breathable material will allow the cabinet to circulate air while providing privacy to the storage space.Use this cabinet for media storage or as a room divider, the back is made to be shown and features removable panels which can be taken out to allow access to electronics. I build pieces with this method for the backs to allow for electronics to be easily installed in place without the need to fish wires through a small hole in the back. The interior of this cabinet can be customized to suit your specific needs, the shelves have adjustable heights and wire pass throughs can be provided if necessary. I cut the wire pass throughs in only when requested so that the cabinet can be used as a room divider without visible pass throughs.Customizations are available including length and material.
