Made of carved and lacquered wood, with floral decorations. The frame, shaped with a sinuous and asymmetrical profile, features a succession of volutes, curls, and phytomorphic motifs that run along the entire perimeter, creating a sense of movement and lightness typical of 18th-century taste, still highly appreciated in 19th-century Venice. The ochre yellow lacquer, now patinated and partially worn, reveals warm undertones that harmoniously blend with the hand-painted floral decorations. The upper crest is of particular note, adorned with a rich relief composition of floral and leafy elements, culminating in a painted central motif: a small bucolic scene rendered in delicate tones. This painted detail is not uncommon in coeval Venetian mirrors, which were often conceived as decorative elements in their own right beyond their reflective function. The mirror is original and shows several areas of oxidation.
