Danish Modular Wall System Attributed To Poul Cadovius, 1960s

Chairish

$4,119

Danish modular wall system, designed by Poul Cadovius in the 1950s. It’s made of teak wood and designed to be mounted directly to the wall. Such systems became popular in the 1950s and 60s as a lighter and more flexible alternative to traditional bookcases and sideboards. The composition combines floating cabinets, drawers, and open shelves, allowing the layout to be adapted to the space or use over time. Please note: there are three shelves available instead of the two shown in the photos. Both tall cabinets each have 1 shelf. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
