Mid-Century Ergo Teak Modular Wall Unit By John Texmon And Einar Blindheim For Blindheim Möbelfabrikk, 1960s

Very rare Mid Century Wall Unit from the Norwegian manufacturer Blindheim based on a design by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim from the early 1960s. The special thing about this shelf system is modularity. The elements can be freely combined within the grid. In contrast to other Wall units, this system is particularly compact and flexible and does not have to be mounted on the wall. The supports of the system simply lean against the wall and are intercepted with a diagonal foot. Especially the rear recess to bridge a possibly existing baseboard. Notches at regular intervals enable the elements free positioning. The containers and shelf borders are hung with brass cones and ironing. There are containers with extracts and sliding doors, open borders, weird shelves and books with cheeks. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
