Isocele Chrome Nesting Tables By Max Sauze, 1970s, Set Of 3

Chairish

$1,163

Set of three square Isocèle nesting tables, made of chrome-plated steel wire and clear glass tops. Born in Algeria in 1933, Max Sauze studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Algiers (1953-56) and then at the Camondo School in Paris (1956-59). In the early 1960s, he settled in Éguilles near Aix-en-Provence. By 1968, production had experienced rapid creativity and growth, and the Max Sauze company was expanding. The 1970s movement embraced new materials: plastics and steels were introduced into modern homes. Getting to the essentials, removing the superfluous, and hollowing out, Max Sauze was a pioneer in this aesthetic model. He developed geometric shapes from aluminum elements that quickly became integrated with lighting. He is now internationally recognized for his creations. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
