This antique American Sheraton one drawer stand, dating to the mid-19th century, is features signature turned legs, dovetailed drawers, and mixed wood on the handle. These stands were versatile pieces in 19th century households, serving equally well as bedside tables, writing stands, or occasional tables. In nice antique condition, consistent with age and use, this stand retains its charm with light surface wear that speaks to its history. Someone in the mid 20th century lined the inside drawer with a flower power drawer liner, I will leave it to the next owner to choose to remove it. A fine example of mid-19th century American furniture, it remains both a practical and decorative addition to today’s interiors. 27h x 20w x 18d
