Antique bedside table, late 19th century, in walnut and black marble. The front features one drawer and a cupboard door that appears to hold five false drawers. The solid walnut front is framed by semi-detached column-like uprights. The base is covered in walnut in the Louis Philippe style and mounted on casters. The black marble top has white veining and an original shape that follows the contours of the piece. The cupboard interior is fitted with two white wooden shelves, with usable heights from top to bottom: 22 cm, 19 cm, and 25 cm. The drawer interior measures 26 cm wide, 8 cm high, and 25 cm deep. This antique piece comes from a small village house in the Aveyron region of southern France. It is in good condition and suitable for everyday use.
