The “BLACK COBRA” is the sister of the “COBRA” nightstand. This is a new line of furniture that is inspired by the undulating movement of a cobra, a snake that was worshipped in ancient Egypt as a symbol of royalty. Designed by Hassan Abouseda for HAF, the “COBRA” line is custom made to order in other veneers and stain colors. The “BLACK COBRA” is shown here in oak veneer with a black stain. The wood grain adds a dynamic richness to the overall appearance.HAF is a boutique design studio in Cairo - Egypt showcasing designs by co-founder Hassan Abouseda, an architect and interior designer. While the aesthetic is modern in spirit, it is also days homage to classical Egyptian design and traditional Egyptian craftsmanship and materials.
