A vintage set of two 'stackable' Korean Joeson / Asian style dark brown Kayaki wood & brass nightstands. Lots of storage space inside with two front doors that have 'copper and brass' butterfly' detailing on the front of the cabinet with further corner & side embellishment throughout the cabinets. It is quite unusual to have copper and brass hardware (Changsok), most cabinets have just brass. Interiors are lined with tan coloured old style paper with black calligraphy. Kayaki wood is distinctively grained, a rich warm colour and used to make higher quality items such as these. Both rest on wood stretchers for stacking, strength and stability.
