This is an Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Executive Chair, Model EA437, initially designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1968. These examples date to 2002. The listed price includes one chair, and we have several available for purchase. Their design features a die-cast aluminum frame with an adjustable five-star base and has thick black leather upholstery. The seats and backs have plush cushions that are 2 inches thick, ensuring a comfortable seating situation. Each chair measures 23 inches deep, 23 inches wide, and is 40.25 inches high. They have a minimum seat height of 19.25 inches that is adjustable to 22.5 inches, and they have a seat depth of 16.5 inches. The leather on all of these examples is in very good condition with some patina present, and the bases and frames show some normal wear from use. The arms are in terrific shape. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
