Grete Jalk Armchair

Incredibly rare oak and teak chairs by Grete Jalk. The model 32-42 designed by Grete Jalk in 1962 and produced by the fine furniture maker Sibast are very rarely seen. Constructed from European oak and offset with teak backrests and arms on the carvers. Seen here in Crest Vele Remy leather.They have a large padded seat and a subtle curved frame which makes them very comfortable.Both chairs still have their original Sibast metal tags and Danish quality control labels in place.Very striking Scandinavian Modernist design chair.
