Napoleon III style office chair, dating from the third quarter of the 19th century, in solid oak with a golden honey patina. The curved back, known as a "barrel" back, is fully upholstered in tobacco brown leather secured with a double row of antique brass upholstery tacks. The center of the back is adorned with a carved wooden element featuring a rocaille or foliate motif, typical of the period's ornamental repertoire. The front legs are turned with ball decoration and fluting; the rear legs are slightly angled saber-shaped. The chair displays a patina consistent with its age, with some signs of wear on the leather and wood that do not detract from its overall appearance. Good overall condition.
