Ergonomic office armchair from the Sirkus series by Yrjö Kukkapuro, produced by Avarte in Finland circa 1981. The chair features a sculptural seat and an adjustable backrest made of black lacquered plywood and upholstery in black wool. It sits on a sturdy metal revolving stem with five castors, offering both comfort and mobility. The chair is adjustable in height and has a tilt function. A functional and characteristic example of Kukkapuro’s human-centered design approach.
