An extraordinary and highly sculptural winged California mountain lion above bighorn ram heads cast iron element believed to have originated from a historic Wells Fargo building in San Francisco. Cast in the Beaux-Arts tradition around the turn of the twentieth century, creating a dramatic California interpretation of the traditional European gargoyle or grotesque motif.
