The piece dates back to the first half of the 20th century. The seat has been restored; the upholstery was replaced with high-quality burgundy natural leather. A unique decorative piece, ideal for colonial or Oriental-style interiors, a study, or a library, or as a striking addition to an antique collection. Dates to the first half of the 20th century; not a later replica. Included with the pouf is a preserved fragment of the original leather featuring an embossed pattern. Due to significant wear, it was replaced with new natural leather, but I retained the old piece as documentation of the furniture's original finish.
