Antique American Empire Serpentine Mahogany Footstool Ottoman 19th century American Victorian Empire box seat footed ottoman. This square serpentine footstool features a bold mahogany wood veneer. The base has a distinctive ogee molded (S-shaped curve) form resting on bracket feet. It is equipped with small revolving castor wheels created for mobility in all directions. The stool is upholstered with a red textured fabric. Condition: Good condition. Small veneer cracks are noticed. Wear due to age and use.
