Arba Ottoman

Is it possible to knock together the Arba Ottoman with no trouble through flat-pack? Yup — it ships in a small box and is quick to set up with just a couple of easy moves. It resembles the architectural transparency aspect of Arba Lounge Chair and is designed by Erwan Bouroullec in 2024. A pair of molded plywood supports nestle into a bent-metal frame and die-cast aluminum swivel base to offer a slim, minimal perch for the feet. The exposed sheet-metal profile allows for a soft flex, and the plywood top is shaped for comfort. Humble and stripped bare, the piece retains all of the purity of an experimental prototype but feels resolved as an industrial product. A quiet architectural presence on its own, or paired with the chair, the Arba Ottoman provides great utility that only grows more satisfying through use and fits seamlessly in modern living spaces.
