Fredrik Kayser - Model 965 Ottomans, 1964A Model 965 ottoman designed by Fredrik Kayser for Vatne Lenestolfabrik in Norway. The simple frame is made from solid rosewood and the seat has been reupholstered in aniline leather. This ottoman was originally designed to pair with the Model 965 wing chair.Kayser is arguably the best Norwegian furniture designer from the post-war period. He designed a number of distinctive, modernist chairs including the Krysset for Rastad & Relling and the Model 711 for Vatne. Shortly after the Model 965 was released Kayser died at the age of just 44. Height: 42cm / Length: 59cm / Width: 42.5cm
