Polder Ottoman

The Polder Ottoman from Vitra references the flatlands of the Dutch landscape in its name and low-sitting design. Creator Hella Jongerius brings a contemporary design aesthetic reflecting her love for colors and surfaces. The ottoman stands with short legs to suggest a floating look. The internal wood frame defined a geometric silhouette with facets as flat as an expansive, flat landscape. Soft foam fills in the frame while fabric wraps it up to give the lower body great comfort. The flat top also serves as a great surface for refreshments and reading materials.
