Inspired by the ubiquitous “motel” chair from the 1940’s, Pliny the Lounger is a timely update on this classic patio chair. Pliny was designed and manufactured by Loll Designs with Sielaff Corporation using sustainable materials. A stainless steel frame is married to Loll’s 100 percent recycled and recyclable high-density polyethylene. This outdoor lounge chair features an elegantly mandrel bent 1-inch tubular stainless steel frame with poly seat and back. The chair’s welded tube frame has no open ends and is a one-piece construction that will last a lifetime. The Pliny has that classic “bounce” feel that brings the seated back to a moment in their familiar past, but the patio chairs’ new roots are clearly in the present.
