A pair of period Empire high pedestal tables with nicely aged patina. Handcrafted in the early 19th century, having circular inset marble top, three columnar supports with gilt metal ormolu mount capitals, conforming base, raised on cupped feet. circa 1810s-1830s These antique pedestal tables are in good shape with a worn, distressed appearance from two centuries of wear/tear. Because of the design/cupped feet, they are not extremely steady.sturdy. Both marble tops have hairline cracks. They present well with good presence. Use as a stand, side table, end table, accent table, lamp or plant stand.
