A very rare 19th century French wooden carved pedestal /umbrella stand with hand painted dragons in gold and some red flames . Attributed to Gabriel Viardot ,(1830 - 1904) was a cabinetmaker working in Paris specialised in "japonisme" furniture adapted to European taste.
