Custom Orange Painted Pedestal Table, Made To Order By Petersen Antiques

This painted pedestal table is seen here with a super ellipse top in 48" x 34" x 28.5" H, however it can be built in any size and shape using the lamé curve equation (in this case, we made the tabletop shape using n=2.25). As this table took shape it struck me that if Keith Haring would build a table, it would look something like this ;-) We use only traditional carpentry techniques, no nails or metal fasteners of any kind. Just mortise and tenon construction reinforced with hand cut wooden dowels.
