Mid 20th Century carved wood stand, platform, base. Rectangular shape with carvings around all four sides. Probably elmwood with reddish stain to suggest rosewood or mahogany. Lovely color and patina. Substantial, well made, and in great shape. Hard to find size is the perfect base for a statue, bonsai, vase, cloisonné work or other treasure.
