This iconic Danish 1960's cream ceiling pendant light was designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen. This model is known as PH 5 because it has five individual metal shades. Henningsen designed the light to cast a soft light outwards and downwards. The metal lamp has a cream exterior and blue and red interior shades. The lamp was reported by the last owner to have hung in the Capital Records Building in Los Angeles. This is an authentic early model collected by the owners of Chrome and Teak. Its wear is consistent with age and use. Wiring untested and the pendant cord was cut. A maker's label is shown in the interior of the light. The light is in good condition with light surface scuffs. Dimensions: 10.5" H X 19.5" W X 20" D.
