Here is an early 1960spendant light fixture from Preban Dal's 'Symfoni' series, designed for Hans Følsgaard Elektro of Denmark. The steel frame is painted white and grayorigami—like panels that diffuse the internal light and scatter it in visually interesting patterns. It is fully functional and in very good vintage condition, showing some age-appropriate wear and a limited amount of scratches to the piece's grey panels. These can be repainted if desired.New taupe colored cloth covered wiring and ceiling canopy. PREBEN DAL (1929–1980) largely remains a mystery, but his designis very well documented .The fantastic and immediately recognizable 'Symfoni' pendant lamps and sconces were made in the very early 1960s for the lighting manufacturer HANS FØLSGAARD A/S of Copenhagen. 17" tall by 17" wide metal portion, but the fixture overall is 35" tall as shown.Wire can be lengthened or shortened.
