A rare and striking pair of “Aurora” pendant lights designed by Perry King and Santiago Miranda for Arteluce, Italy, design date 1983. These iconic postmodern fixtures feature a suspended disc composed of textured glass plates with a distinctive blue core, creating a dramatic interplay of direct and diffused light. The sculptural form and saturated color exemplify the bold, space-age aesthetic of 1980s Italian lighting design. Each pendant is suspended from a domed ceiling canopy with adjustable cables, allowing for flexible installation and striking visual presence whether used over a dining table, kitchen island, or in a statement interior. Currently hung to a 44" length. These fixtures were purchased in 1993 from Atelier International. This offering includes the original sell sheet/documentation, adding to the desirability and collectibility of the pair. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal wear. Both fixtures are clean, well-preserved, and present beautifully. Original wiring; professional inspection recommended prior to installation. Part of a documented late-1980s architecturally scaled interior collection acquired together between 1987 - 1993. Seller open to consideration for combined purchase with other listed pieces from the same collection.
