Act Pendant Lamp, 80 Cm, White

The Act pendant lamp by Normann Copenhagen is a refined example of circular thinking and inventive design. The lamp’s shade is crafted from PE plastic pipes which, due to their complex composition, have traditionally been incinerated instead of recycled. Now, in the hands of designer Simon Legald, this plastic waste is given a new life as a lighting object. The shade of the Act pendant is created by diagonally slicing the plastic pipes into oval rings and carefully fusing them together. This process preserves the material’s unique texture and reveals the subtle beauty of recycled plastic. The translucent surface of the oval shade allows light to play through it, casting a soft, atmospheric glow.
