This antique hanging lamp dates from the 1910s/1920s. What is special about this specimen is that the lamp can be adjusted in height by means of a counterweight and pulleys. Pull the counterweight and the lamp goes up, push the weight up and the lamp goes down. Besides that, the complete picture is also very decorative to look at. Both the counterweight and the ceiling rose are made of porcelain. The shade is made of opaline glass. This copy has new wiring and works on a standard E27 fitting. Ready for use. Maximum height 170cm, shade diameter 26cm. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
