Exceptional “luzette” pendant designed by peter behrens for aeg and siemens, germany, circa 1930. This celebrated model features a sculptural opaline milk glass shade capped with a brass-plated ring and suspended from an ornate brass-plated chain. The luzette is one of the most iconic lighting designs of early modern industrial aesthetics, exemplifying behrens’ visionary approach that influenced generations of designers, including the bauhaus. The pendant has been fully restored, retaining minor age-appropriate patina.
