Antique alabaster hanging lamp in Art Deco style, circa 1940s. A single piece of alabaster, beautifully worked with shades and reflections of other colours when lit, suspended from three strands of rope, its original, can be changed to three chains or replaced. The light that shines through the alabaster is warm and suggestive and exudes a beautiful atmosphere both when lit and unlit. Suitable for an entrance hall or a bedroom. The lamp mounts an E27 socket, European standard. Dimensions: height: 95 cm, diameter: 30 cm, height without chains approx. 13, can be shortened. In excellent vintage condition, it has some stains typical of alabaster workmanship. The luminaire is fully functional but, as with all period lighting fixtures, it is always advisable to have it tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
