Extremely rare and minimalistic bauhaus / modernist pendant lamp or hanging light 'drop'. Designed probably by peter behrens for siemens, 1920s, germany. executed in copper, brass and opaline glass, the lamp needs 1 x e27 / e26 edison screw fit bulb. It is rewired, works both with 110 / 230 volt. dimensions: dm 7.1 in. (18 cm) in. X h 13.78 in. (35 cm) hanging height (from to the bottom) 27.56 in. (70 cm) good original vintage condition. Wear consistent with use and age. No damage to the glass shade.
