The Colour-Edition Chandelier shows handcrafted decorative hanging lamps realized through a selection of iconic italian marbles, inspired by the most outstanding artistic movements of our Territory. Thisobject represented our tribute to Edit Napoli 1st Edition ( June 2019).Rosso Collemandina, original of Villa Collemandina, part of the “Appennino Tosco-Emiliano” National Park, is appreciated for its rich and intense chromatic tones.Verde Alpi is extracted from the heart of Western Alpes at 1.800 metres of altitude, in Val D’Aosta region. Its dramatic contrasts recall iconic architectures, thanks to itsdistinctive character. Giallo Reale Rosato, belonging to the gentle landscape of Verona, is celebrated for its prestigious yet eclectic touch.Both The Single Suspension series as well as The Chandelier series are characterized by the same endless passion for simplicity and attention for details that best representus. The inspiration, as well as the genesis of the entire design process, that led to the creation of the collection, belongs to the world of Porcelain, to its surface andstructural characteristics. Therefore, our project was born from the exploration of two-dimensional geometries on one hand, and on the other one, from the design intentaimed at researching lightness and thinness, bringing them to unforeseen results. As a consequence, this was a path subject to curiosity, to research, to the story of how alight beam may transform the features of a marble surface becoming translucent, and a porcelain sheet turning as thin as an eggshell.Formaminima is an emerging brand within the Italian Design panorama, prone to exploring the concept of object itself, in the field of lighting and product designin its broadest sense. This exploration starts in the first instance from the tradition, from the artisan mastery and that making full of charm, care, and perseverance.Each project is in fact crafted in those same places where the know-how is handed down and kept for generations, exclusively in our territory. Carefully selected workshops, ateliers, and studios become our precious partners in the creation of every single piece, conceived and designed by us. Therefore, in this latter, multiple knowledge is merged, especially that linked to high-quality materials, production processes, and an innovative aesthetic. Thus to achievewhat for us represents a contemporary Design Sleek Poetry.We create value through the masterly realization of unique pieces, as well as minimizing the intermediation between the Design product and its audience. Hence our projects result in the outcome of a direct collaboration between our designers and the excellence of Italian craftsmanship, along with its valuable know-how. To this end, we believe that a slow design process, together with its time of thought andresearch, is essential for what we believe Good Design may be.So this latter, passing from the inspiration to the concrete realization of each of our design creation, arrives directly to the customer.
