Designer Arturo Alvarez's experiment of material techniques results in a transcendent design evocative of a nurturing nest. The a-emotional light Blum Pendant inspires and delights with threads of steel that appear to be drawn in space. Spools of steel wire are formed into lovely orbs one by one. Assuring no piece is identical, the globes are composed together by hand in a light, beautiful object that seemingly defies gravity.
