The Bolla Pendant from FontanaArte takes its name from the Italian word for bubble, and the reference is easy to see. The transparent blown glass diffuser carries an iridescent surface quality that shifts with the light, recalling the thin-film effect of soap bubbles. Designed by Studio Harry-Paul, the lamp pairs this glass with steel suspension cables and a blue fabric power cable, the latter adding a quiet colour note against the chrome ceiling rose. Light output is diffused and dimmable throughout.
