This elegant pendant has been designed and manufactured in Sweden in the 1940s. The light features an elegant brass structure with a sculptural, asymmetric form that gently curves downward to support a pleated conical shade. Suspended from a polished brass canopy and chain, the design balances delicacy and dynamism, characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian lighting. Three slender brass rods rise from the lower arm like harp strings, adding a refined graphic element while visually anchoring the tilted shade. The pleated fabric diffuser casts a soft, ambient glow, creating both atmosphere and visual interest. This pendant brings a touch of 1940s modernist sophistication, making it an eye-catching statement piece for dining areas, entryways, or reading corners. The light has been rewired with new fabric cord. It requires one E26/E27 bulb. All lighting is converted for US usage. New pleated fabric on original shade. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
