Several bubble glass pendant light designed by helena tynell for glashütte limburg. A design classic, the hand blown glass gives a wonderful warm glow. Helena tynell is a finnish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the school of the arts in helsinki between 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the finnish glass company riihimäki lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960 m (12 editions) at the triennale in milan, zurich, amsterdam and london. She has worked as a freelance designer for flygsfors glassworks, bega leuchten, glashütte limburg and fostoria glass. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
