Bump Pendant Light

Like a ripple caught mid-motion, Bump suspends a fragment of shifting light above the room. Ludovica + Roberto Palomba press a thin shell of injection-molded ABS / PMMA into gentle rises and recesses, so the glossy dome never reads as a smooth half-sphere. Daylight skims across each facet; at night an internal LED engine projects a soft downlight while the irregular surface breaks up reflections, echoing the shimmer of water or hammered metal. A slim stem and transparent power cord leave the form visually weightless, letting the color take center stage—whether you choose deep Petrolio, warm Ochre, or cloud-white Gesso. Cluster several at different heights for a kinetic ceiling installation, line a bar with matching domes, or let a single Bump become a sculptural statement over a dining table. Made in Italy by Foscarini, the pendant arrives with a white ceiling rose and optional off-center kit, giving you freedom to place the light exactly where the moment calls for it.
