"calotta" pendant lamp produced by martinelli luce; an iconic lamp from the 1960s, designed by elio martinelli in 1963. the design is in true space age style. It consists of shaped, bent, and curved stainless steel sheets that form a semi-spherical dome that reflects light. it was produced both as a pendant and as a floor or table lamp with a flexible arm.
